International Health Tourism and Tourist Health
Our hospital is an authorized healthcare facility for international health tourism.
In our hospital, an International Health Tourism Unit has been established to coordinate procedures related to patient registration, diagnosis, treatment, invoicing, discharge procedures, interpreting, and intermediary services for international health tourism.
Our patients will be informed about the services they will receive at our hospital, and after obtaining the required written forms, the procedures will begin. After the treatment, they will be provided with an Epicrisis Form, which includes clinical and laboratory findings, the diagnosis and progression of the disease, examinations conducted, treatment details, and treatment outcomes. Additionally, they will receive an information document outlining the steps to be taken after discharge.

Associate Professor Nihat Demirhan DEMİRKIRAN, M.D., Ph.D.
Born in Istanbul in 1986, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihat Demirhan Demirkıran is a faculty member in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Kütahya University of Health Sciences. He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and subsequently worked at Darıca Alemdar Health Center and Darıca Farabi Hospital Emergency Department. In 2016, he completed his residency in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine and earned the title of “Specialist in Orthopaedics and Traumatology.” Additionally, he holds a PhD in Basic Oncology from the same institution.
His research interests include sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, and orthopedic biomechanics. With numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as multidisciplinary research projects and patents, he continues to contribute to the scientific literature. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica (AOTT) and Balkan Medical Journal.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demirkıran has been honored with several awards from the Turkish Orthopaedics and Traumatology Association and the Turkish Sports Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Arthroplasty Association, including the Best Experimental Study Award and the Prof. Dr. Münir Ahmet Sarpyener Award for the Best Specialty Thesis. His work involves advanced techniques such as biomechanical analysis, developing meniscal scaffolds, and xenograft models for studying orthopedic conditions.
He participated in the EFORT Fellowship at the prestigious Charité University Hospital in Berlin, where he collaborated with renowned experts and advanced his skills in cutting-edge orthopedic procedures.
In his administrative career, he served as an Orthopaedics and Traumatology Specialist and Deputy Chief Physician at Dumlupınar University Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital. After working as an Assistant Professor at Kütahya Health Sciences University Orthopaedics and Traumatology Clinic, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2020 and subsequently served as the Head of the Department in the same clinic.
At Kütahya Health Sciences University, he held numerous academic and administrative roles, including:

• Member of the KUYAM Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Center Board of Directors,
• Member of the Faculty of Medicine Accreditation Evaluation Commission,
• Coordinator for Phase 5 Education,
• Member of the Academic Incentive Commission,
• Member of the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Commission,
• Coordinator of the Erasmus Program for Surgical Medical Sciences.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demirkıran is proficient in English (C2), has intermediate proficiency in German, and is conversant in Serbian. He is married and has one child.
Assistant Prof. Çağla ÖZDEMİR
I was born in 1986 in Ankara. I graduated from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in 2011. In 2011, I started working as a general practitioner in Sakarya Akyazı State Hospital Emergency Unit. 2012-2013, I worked as a research assistant at Kırıkkale University, Department of Pediatrics. I resigned on 14.12.2013 and chose the Department of Family Medicine. Between 2014-2019, I worked as an assistant physician at Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital Family Medicine Clinic. I was appointed to Kütahya Provincial Directorate of Health as a Specialist Doctor. I worked at Kütahya Central District Community Health Center and Kütahya Cumhuriyet Family Health Center. On 02.03.2022, I started to work as an Assistant Professor at Kütahya Health Sciences University. I work at the Department of Family Medicine at Kütahya Health Sciences University Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital, Ministry of Health.
Uzm. Nurse Buşra ARIK ŞEN
I was born on 28.03.1996 in Kütahya/Merkez. I completed my undergraduate education at Kütahya Health Sciences University, Faculty of Nursing, Department of Nursing between 2015-2019. Then I completed my master's degree at Kütahya Health Sciences University, Faculty of Nursing, Graduate Education Institute between 2020-2022. I am currently continuing my doctoral education at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Graduate Education Institute, Doctoral Program, Public Health Nursing Department. After working as an Emergency Department Nurse between August 2020-2024, I started working as a Quality Nurse in the Quality Management Unit since August 2024 and I am still continuing.
